IN MARK 5, we see three healings. More specifically, three resurrections. There is the Gadarene demoniac, Jairus' daughter, and the woman with the issue of blood. All three were terminal. Over 2,000 demons tried continually to cause the demoniac to commit suicide. Jairus' daughter was lying on her deathbed when He sought out Jesus. The woman with the issue of blood had seen many physicians and yet grew worse every day.

Despite the distance, across the lake. Despite the rejection of the townspeople. Despite, the townspeople's rejection of Him, Jesus was sent to heal the demoniac. One man's cry for deliverance reached the Father's ears and was answered.

Despite the religious culture and the rumors about this radical preacher. Despite those mourning His daughter's death. Despite the mocking of the man who'd come to raise her from death, Jairus chose to believe, and afterward, His daughter lived.

Despite being labeled unclean. Despite being surrounded by such a huge crowd. Despite what the doctors had told her and what she knew of her condition, the woman pressed through and grasped hold of Jesus' garment. Her faith made her whole.

Jesus Christ is the same "yesterday, to day, and for ever." Don't you doubt it. What He came to earth to accomplish was set in order from before the beginning of time. We are told His death and Resurrection were foreordained. And we know there was no failure possible in it. Nor was anything not included. The word translated "salvation" includes health, deliverance, and prosperity. The God who is Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end, still heals today.

I sit here as one proof. My life today is evidence of the goodness of God poured out upon men. I encourage you to seek the Healer. Seek God who SO LOVED the world that He gave and gave and gave again. And watch as He meets you where you are at and fixes all that's broken. That's who He is.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." (1 Peter 2:24)

FROM TATTOOED:
Who was Holden Lang without the music? And did he really believe in his wife’s God at all? Or was all of this a sham, and him fooling himself into belief in something that didn’t exist and what had happened to him, the healing of his voice, simply another medical phenomenon that could be easily explained?
Was it? And did he even care?
